BRIDGING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE:
A FREE WORKSHOP FOR EMERGING ENTREPRENEURS

Join us on Friday 17 July for a virtual Mandela Day event designed to help local businesses succeed online

In 2018, the Nelson Mandela Foundation challenged all South Africans to use Mandela Day to take sustainable action against poverty. It’s a call that’s more relevant than ever in 2020, in an already weakened economy battered into a vicious recession by the effects of the Covid-19 lockdown.

To help emerging entrepreneurs to grow their businesses in these challenging times, enhancing their capacity to create jobs and stimulate economic activity in their communities, we have co-ordinated a powerful line-up of successful digital entrepreneurs, savvy social media marketers and technical fundis. They will share their stories, techniques and power tips to equip small businesses with the tools and skills they need to market and sell their products and services online – both locally and globally.

Here’s the line-up for the day:

10:15 Atang Tshikare of Zabalazaa Design

Creating Partnerships to Sell through Local & Global Retailers

11:15 Dylan Kohlstadt of ShiftONE

Crafting a Digital Marketing Strategy for the New Normal

12pm Karin Rae Mathee of Dear Rae Jewellery

3:30 Tamburai Chirume of ONEOFEACH
