67squared is a Mandela Day initiative founded with the aim of taking sustainable action against poverty by supporting emerging businesses with branding, marketing and digital infrastructure and skills.
We believe that if Mandela Day is to play a meaningful role in improving the quality of life for millions of South Africans, it needs to be more than 67 minutes of charity work once a year.
We believe that the growth of small business is a potentially powerful source of job creation, but that many aspirant entrepreneurs are held back from launching successful enterprises because they do not have the means or the knowledge to create a brand that can compete in today’s digital economy.
So we, a voluntary collective of Cape-Town based brand communication professionals, creatives and coders spearheaded by brand communications agency Machete Creative, launched 67squared, an initiative to empower start-up businesses and aspirant entrepreneurs with professional brand identities, websites and marketing strategies.
