The Nelson Mandela Foundation has challenged us to use Mandela Day to take sustainable action against poverty.
We believe that one of the best ways we can do this is to empower small businesses with the tools they need to succeed in today’s digital world. So that they can not only generate an income for their owners, but begin to employ other people as well.
This is why we, a voluntary collective of Cape Town-based brand communication professionals, creatives and coders, have launched 67 SQUARED – a project to empower emerging small business owners from previously disadvantaged communities.
We will dedicate Wednesday 18 July 2018 to an intense day of briefing, logo design, digital strategizing, web design, coding and uploading, so that by the end of the day our candidate businesses will walk away with:
This carefully structured package will improve every participating business’s brand identity and boost the odds of success in a competitive climate. The tools provided and skills imparted will allow these fresh entrepreneurs to use their precious financial resources on other essential areas within their operation. All this will promote the growth and long-term survival of these businesses.
If you would like to participate in this initiative – either as a business owner or as a volunteer – please apply by clicking one of the buttons below. Thank you!
